We are delighted that the Terry Pratchett: HisWorld exhibition that was exhibited in Salisbury Museum has won Best Temporary or Touring Exhibition in the prestigious Museum & Heritage Awards. The awards, in their 16th year, recognise projects of excellence and innovative, ground-breaking initiatives from galleries and museums across the UK. HisWorld was presented by the Museum in association with the Estate of Sir Terry Pratchett and his artist of choice, Paul Kidby.
The exhibition was picked from a shortlist including the V&A, The Science Museum and The National Trust.
The judges described it as “an exhibition which demonstrated great emotional connection which resulted in a marked change in visitor demographics”.
By the time the exhibition closed it had welcomed more than 21,000 people.
Huge thanks to all involved in putting HisWorld together, the friendly volunteers who stewarded it and to all of the wonderful fans who made the journey to visit it.
