Paul Kidby is best known for being the ‘artist of choice’ for the award-winning writer Sir Terry Pratchett, who passed away in 2015. Self-taught illustrator and artist Paul, who left school at the age of 17 to work as a commercial artist, started working with award-winning writer Sir Terry Pratchett in 1993 and has since been responsible for creating iconic artworks for the ‘Discworld’ series of books. Since 2002, he has created amazing book jackets for Sir Terry’s works, illustrated the 2017 publication ‘Terry Pratchett’s Discworld Imaginarium’ and the 2019 publication ‘Good Omens’ written by Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Earlier this year a set of Special Royal Mail Discworld stamps was issued featuring Paul’s illustrations.
